How to Measure Your Dog
1. Back Length
Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail along the spine. This is the most important measurement for coats and sweaters to ensure proper fit and coverage.
2. Chest Circumference (Girth)
Measure around the widest part of the ribcage just behind the front legs. This ensures the garment fits comfortably without restricting movement or breathing.
3. Neck Circumference
Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits. Keep the tape measure snug but comfortable—you should be able to fit one finger between the tape and your dog's neck.
